The ECS Liva Z11 Plus is a barebones mini PC that's a fine choice for small businesses, offering speedy performance and superb display-output options. It's a compact, understated design with a glossy Liva logo and honeycomb vents for cooling. The front and back of the machine present an array of ports, including USB Type-C, USB Type-A, and USB 2.0 ports, as well as two speedy 40Gbps USB4 connectors with DisplayPort 2.1 output support for external displays. The desktop has no 3.5mm audio jack, but it features one 2.5Gbps and one 1Gbps Ethernet jack, as well as Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 radios. The Liva Z11 Plus is easy to upgrade, with just four large screws on the underside that provide access to the memory and SSD slots. The Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor inside the tested configuration performed decently in benchmarks, and the fan noise was manageable during real-world usage. However, the fan noise ramped up noticeably during graphics tests, and the Liva Z11 Plus is best suited for everyday office or personal use, with some light creative work possible. Overall, it's a good choice for small businesses, but it's not the most powerful or feature-rich mini PC on the market.
